China imported over 14 million bottles of Italian wine in 2017 first half
China imported over 14 million bottles of Italian wine in 2017 first half equivalent to about 48 millions € (according to Chinese Custom, only bottled wine excluding sparkling and bulk categories)
China also imported almost 4,5 million bottles of Italian sparkling wine, first country as volume, second after France as value.
Italian bulk wine export in China is fading significance.
Shanghai Custom is the major port of access for imported wines.
